Athlete Development
At FLOW Performance Coaching we offer clients three different methods for working with us. One of those methods is what we like to call the Athlete Development Programme.
To qualify for this programme, you need to have the will and desire to compete and or improve your performance in a sport which is important to you.
We specialise in Triathlon which is great news for you because it means we have specialist knowledge in 3 sports and not just one. Furthermore, we are trained in strength and conditioning so we will also be able to build the perfect gym programme for you.
To be part of our team, we ask the following things from you:
-
Follow the plan and trust the process. We have over 10 years race and coaching experience and we know what it takes to get you ready or to get you faster and more competitive than what you are now.
-
Be committed and determined. There is no value in us coaching you if you don’t show up and we would rather end a relationship than produce plans for a client who never does them.
-
Make yourself proud and be stronger than your excuses. We will invest our energy into helping you achieve your objectives, and we will be your biggest fan. That’s because we believe in you, and we will help you to do the same.
Our commitment to you is to:
Produce plans for you each Monday and to review the outcome of these sessions with you every week. You will have unlimited contact with us, day or night, we are here to help and support you.
Encourage and motivate you and fully support you on your journey, whatever that may be.
Set realistic and achievable goals and objectives with you. You decide what you want to achieve, and we will help you get there but at the same time if we don’t think it is the right approach or possible then we will tell you.
Accompany you where possible on training sessions and to provide you with feedback on your technique and performance. We will show you how you can improve and will build this into your plans.
Give you direction, advice and counsel in all aspects of your sporting life. Our goal is to help you fit training into your life, make it fun not a burden and to help you get the best out of yourself every day.
Communication:
Is at the very heart of what we do and is the most important part of any coaching relationship. The technical aspects of coaching are important to, but this is not what sets us apart from anyone else.
We work with clients that we genuinely like and believe in the potential of the relationship. If we don’t “vibe” that’s ok, but the relationship we have as coach and athlete won’t be as strong as if we do get along well.
We are selective in who we work with as we know that if there is a connection in the relationship then the outcomes will be so much more positive which in turn is better for both respective parties.
We are fun, friendly, enthusiastic and very passionate about what we do. We also compete as athletes so we know how hard it can be, we know the sacrifices that are made, and we understand and have empathy.
Our goal is not to make you the best athlete, but the best version of yourself that you can be. There will always be stronger, faster, better athletes but we don’t focus on that, we focus on what we can achieve by working together with you.
Selecting a coach is not an easy process and a lot of it comes from word of mouth based on other people’s experiences.
We hope you like what you see here, and we’d love to chat to you about what we can do and how we can help you. If you’d like to get in touch, see the details below for more information on how you can get started with us and become a valued member of our team at FLOW Performance Coaching.
